Well I’ll be, now that I went back to speak on the green part I realize what needed to be said was said in the RED
Red first, (I had to do red second so Green didn’t get buried)I’m in the middle and actually reading the BIBLE. No church. I want to read it for myself, the church has had 50years to get me on board. With that little setup get this, I’m bathing the dogs tonight so I through on ECC, or ECCLESIATICS comes on(audio) after Proverbs ends. I’m never going to be big on quoting scripture, that comes off as CHURCH and Christian work and I don’t want to be that. The followers of Christ GOD talks about, those dudes were not some clowns dancing and pandering to the audience. They were SOLDIERS. Men that even the opps revered, not men you look at the way we look at today’s Christians who claim GOD but wouldn’t get their hands dirty in spiritual warfare because they fear whatever the dark side has more than GOD. Anyway, the book says there is NOTHING new under the sun. If it will be done it has been done. It goes in depth bruv, it’s apparent our technology is leveled up but leveled up for us and our times. We have what we create(often in benevolent ways w/ assistance) and use for times such as ours, or the present. ANCEINT times and the BRONZE age that I referenced, the BIBLE doesn’t tell us, everything. Or it did and was removed to cap our capacity or understanding of the power we possess. Maybe not but here we are, Again, we are devolved in my opinion, not evolved in comparison to those times. Mentally and Sporitually. They were walking with GOD, they were beside Noah parting Seas. They hung out with JESUS in, nah just imagine that as an event the same way you imagine let’s say, Achilles smashing on the foe, believe or not just see the event, the story even if you see it as SCI-FI. You can suspend disbelief for STARWARS, GOT, don’t front (not talking to you I’m talking to whoever reads this). like you can’t read those stories and be, impressed. I spend time with GOD, not a lot but I have been spending time with him, talking to with him, mostly talking at him or to him as it’s often someway conversation. I don’t know if I’m getting better at hearing him or I’m just getting better at not asking for something and asking for substance. I’m not asking like I’m talking to some Genie in a bottle. I’m talking to him like I’m talking to you. He rarely answers and rarely speaks but I figure that’s because I just can’t hear and not because he was silent. I don’t know him well enough to never miss a piece of advice, but the same way I know my Biological Father well because I spent time with him growing up. Most of what I asked my Father for growing up I didn’t get. Everything I needed from him I got and I learned the difference between the two as I spent time with him. I now know him well. It’s simple of you ask me. If I want to get to know somebody I know how to do that, I’m just applying said tactics here. I don’t want any parts of a church. I read this BIBLE daily and daily I question it, who wrote this? Valid question if you ask me. I’m supposed to trust this, because why? Yea not important to me right now, I am reading it to know for myself what it says. GOD knows this, how I feel about the book and we don’t seem to disagree or agree, it’s a moot point when I bring it up and I bring it up every time I open it. I know him because I know him, This is why I call him a friend. This is why I know that I know GOD. I don’t need antibody else to believe, or to do anything other than what they have always done, that’s between them amd, that’s between yall.

It never hurts to check and verify if someone has sound reasoning or not even if they believe in god or any other questionable thing.

I still don't understand how any rational person could come to the conclusion that today's society is even remotely comparable to the past by any stretch of the imagination.
Whether it's living standards, life expectancy, crime, war, famine, scientific advances, religion, ... literally every single metric was infinitely worse in the past.
Also, you speak of "in the eyes of God, not man" but what about those of us who don't believe in any type of organized religion and think it's all nonsense?

For the same reason I wouldn't ask Syropha(my blind cousin) if my hair looks better long/short, I wouldn't ask you what you thought if I knew you didn't believe in GOD,and since you told me what you thought I gave you the respect of moving on.
I don't want to convince you GOD is real.
In regard to this one, I could be wrong but I'm also not claiming I am right, simply voicing an opinion.

Regarding wickedness and moral decay, absolutely yes. I think debauchery is probably worse today (prevalence of degenerate porn consumption/addiction etc) but that’s about it.

I think a number of metrics fall under wickedness and moral decay. Things like wars, corruption, civil rights, democracy, …
What exactly would you define as wickedness, moral decay and debauchery?
I’d argue the absolute bottom of the barrel of all 3 of those combined is child sexual abuse and even though it’s still a major issue today, it was undoubtedly worse in the past.
