What’s the hold up with the NBA releasing the schedule for the second half of the season? Seems kind of weird it’s not out yet.

If they’re dead set on everyone getting 72 in, last week with the Mavs and Houston cancelling a couple games probably threw a wrench into things.

All star votes should be looked at in a vacuum. What have you done this season and this season only. We already place what maybe too much emphasis on winning, that logic only exacerbates it and gives an unfair advantage to players on Playoff teams.

That sounds good in theory but I think being a human voter disallows that from happening.

Stop making all star selections team awards

How would you separate Players with similar profiles then?

Not saying I agree/disagree with your point.

A team like Washington missed an entire two weeks in January.

Probably gonna see a return of back-to-back-to-backs. Players taking even more rest days.

Think so? Feels like players association would not be happy about that, and players taking rest days obviously is bad for teams, fans, everyone

Unfortunately it’s very similar conditions to the lockout seasons. You wanna play X amount of games, fit in as many as possible partly due to the TV contracts, but you have limited time because you don’t want to delay the next season.
