Agreed on that waste of LaLa though... They tossed that man aside like dirt when he was an interesting character and a good actor.
Still a dope episode. Wonder how much they plan on making Jennifer like Jeff.
Tobias is an amazing villain... Hope he plays that rival role for the long term and doesn't get wiped out in S2.

Man what?? Anissa literally protected her father twice and saved his life. She may be a little impulsive, but her intentions are in the right place. Wanting to protect her family is hardly thinking of only herself.

Her intentions are never in the right place or about protecting her family. She comes across as the militant type who goes out her way to inflict damage and pain to anyone she perceives as a villain. She wants to fight for the sake of fighting so they can feel the pain she feels as an oppressed black woman in society.

The assistant principal got cakes too.
I enjoyed the show a lot. It was better than I expected. Touched on a lot of issues in the community too. The costumes suck but that’s not that much of a big deal.
