ok so why are they protesting?
Keep in mind that all signs pointed to a very very tight race, 40 million paper ballots were some how counted in a few hours, 10 million ballots are missing, and Ahmadinejad won with a 2 to 1 ratio, which is near impossible with the amount of supports the opposition has.
Also, people are now protesting the regime as a whole, some calling it a Green Revolution (the color the protesters are wearing). It is possibly weakening the unpopular Islamic Government system.
source? what position did he have while this occurred?Originally Posted by JustScoreda100
There isnt really any difference between the two. It appears that Mausavi may be a little more lenient when it comes to Isreal amd the US, but he also supervised the execution of 8,000 people. He seems like the lesser of two evils.
