I mean don't get me wrong if I were looking to get a whip 2 years from now I would just pay cash for the 08 accord but I'm not trying to finance an 08 whip, and i know this is Nike talk where dudes pay cash to go to college but the civic fits my budget where I can over pay on my note and still have pocket money and pay my other bills no worry and its only a year old with 10k miles so the first owner already took the hit I only drive 10-12k miles a year if that so I won't put crazy miles on the car so really this can last me forever.
last car i had was a 97 camry. i told myself that i wasn't gonna buy a new car until i ran that into the ground. i put over 260,000 miles on the camry with no major problems and gave up and copped a g37 coupe. i couldn't destroy that car if i triedYo not for nothing those 97 Camry's are probably the most reliable cars I've come across in my life.
I think you should just by from a private seller on craigslist.
15K is too much for that civic. Sounds like you are rushing into this. Shop around a bit.

See if you qualify for Honda's financing offers:

Buy the brand new 2013 Civic base model for 18K before taxes.
Honda just redesigned the '13. Looks way better then the 12' model.

Hit up chase, see if you can get a better rate for your loan.

If you are dead set on getting a car, I think the best move is to get the brand new Civic with Honda's 0.9% financing.
im still wondering why you getting a brand new civic when older civics are known to be better quality and da aftermarket parts
for maintenance are plentiful and cheap...
