2014 NBA Draft Thread

I was amped to see Philly go all-in on Glove 2. Then them feels hit just to watch him get flipped moments later.

The defense and length with a MCW and Payton back court. My goodness. The amount of bricks too.

Where you end up watching the Draft?

Can only imagine the emotional roller coaster.

Defense and transition would have been OUTSTANDING, the amount of clanks would have been too though, Embiid/Noel woulda been getting so many tip ins.

Was watching it at the crib for a little while then headed out to Williamsburg to meet up with someone (:{) and caught some of the second round before too much alcohol entered my system. You?

Indiana proving they're the best hub for ball talent with 8 first round draft picks in the past 9 years. Shoutout to the Hoosiers!

John calipari is rolling over in his grave right now

Not IU hoosier players, but Indianapolis born players. My bad I Should've clarified better lol

Indy is a huge hub for talent though man it's crazy. Crazy to think about all of these dudes I played against in high school that play for nba teams now.

Very excited for Randle in LA man, he's going to eat on and off the court out there, kid has to be a feeling like a billion dollars right now.

Crashed so early, the struggle is real. Had to be up early for morning news.

Seen Randle score over double/triple teams and NBA length, I have no doubts about him, usually 37 year old men are NBA ready.
Albert Pujols-lite.

I want both to kill it.

Texas boys :hat

2 Texas boys on the Lakers :hat :hat
You forgot the most important one.

Lamar Odom's not bad, not that athletic, and a not as rangy as a defender, Boris Diaw might be a bit better example. A guy who can play big and small at the same time I think is an going to be an important type of player moving forward in todays NBA with small lineups, Saric got a really good post game he can punish smaller players, but he can also stretch the floor, has improved every year, jump shot inconsistent but has improved leaps and bounds over the last two years.

I saw Micic at u19's and I watched a couple euroleague games. He's a really big point gaurd at 6'6 and really really good passer, good mechanics on his jumper, should be better than his percentages, turnover prone, think Kendall Marshall or Greives Vasquez.

Do you think Saric, Noel and Embiid will be able to play/start together? I watched some footage of Saric from his playoff games that he just had and he was really knocking down his 3's. Think he went 9/18 combined from 3 in his last two playoff games.

And when do you think Micic will be coming over? Kendall Marshall comparison doesn't really get me hyped :lol

Hinkie stockpiling assets. Can't say enough how much I love the strategy. Philly assembling an army.
Just really hope it pans out the way they are thinking. This team has not been relevant since 01 i dont even count that playoff win vs CHI a good season.

To watch the sixers tank another season or 2 is pretty sickening though, Gonna be really interesting if it does actually work out and embidd gets healthy with all the money we will still have

Im praying it does though man. What it could be in a few years

This season will be another campaign of misery. Patience, my friend. We're climbing out the pit like Christian Bale in Dark Knight Rises.

Especially since its his team already

I am a little scared that he is SOOOOO left hand/right shoulder dominant.

We all saw Kentucky play a lot, I can't remember a right hand drive without a spin back to his left or a finish with his right hand.

He's 19 tho. Where's Kareem? :lol

Alright out of everyone who was drafted last night who do you guys think can be a all star for years to come? and who do you guys think will be a bust?

Cavs wanted Parker tho, Parker flopped his workout and Dan Gilbert like the chump he is settled.

The Cavaliers are reportedly "leaning toward" drafting Jabari Parker with the No. 1 overall pick, despite Parker's unimpressive workout on Friday.
The Cavs also have "some interest" in an offer from the Magic, which would send the No. 1 pick to Orlando in exchange for Arron Afflalo and picks Nos. 4 and 12 in this year's draft. Andrew Wiggins is still in the mix for the top selection if Cleveland decides to keep the pick, as ESPN.com reports, "The Cavs also believe that although Wiggins is more of a risk and not as ready as Parker to contribute right away, he has the higher upside." Wiggins/Parker/Embiid/Randle/Stauskas/Exum are guys I'm betting on 100%

Busts? Vonleh/LaVine/James Young

Wouldn't be surprised if LaVine turns out to be a perennial all star either, he's a crap shoot.
