2014 NBA Draft Thread

I liked the sound of an Exum and Olapido back court. Neither are above-average shooters at this point, but both prospects have room for improvement in that department. Payton and Vic is nice in principle defensively, but Elfrid shoots poorer than Exum.

I liked that combo as well, and I really thought Exum under the mentorship of Nelson could've grown into the position.

But when GM's tend to pile onto a popular opinion, a kid's plans can go down the drain. He's gonna have to resign himself to playing the 2 in Utah.

:lol Awkward...

Trey, Exum, Hayward, Kanter, Favors. Burks, Hood, Gobert.

Superstars ain't going to Charlotte unless Mike is putting another $10M per year into Melo's Jordan deal... which could actually happen.
Yeah I don't think Melo comes with Chicago still in play but Jordan could make Melo a lucrative off the court deal. But regardless the hornets are in position to make some good moves along with quality draft picks.

True :lol :{ if the Lakers could sign Bledsoe and Monroe (or someone else of that caliber) that would be a pretty decent offseason.

Any word on Patric Young? I really thought he'd make a good pro prospect. His build, maturity. Like Dejuan Blair you know?

Nice glue guy. He'll get picked up by someone. Hopefully the Knicks. Good defender, tough player, cleans the glass.

I get the mitch mcgary pick for the thunder.. if he doesn't hurt his back, then who knows where he goes.. and he stopped working out for teams and didn't give medical info (presumably after the thunder made him a promise)

if their is any truth to the heat want perkins (please dear lord baby jesus), then i'll fly to OKC to help him pack his bags.. but if not, he's gone after next season when his contract is up anyways

and nick collison's deal is also up after next season.. and he's getting older (currently 33, going be 34 in October)

so we need that 3rd big to go with ibaka and adams, if both perkins and collision are gone after next season

I have no clue about huestis and christon
