Why the sour reaction. Form his tweet he made it seem whoever he spoke with a GM or somebody close to a few may be a bit proactive now with their star players playing extra games that might risk injury as in putting it in contracts or straight up restricting it altogether.

Its his m.o. whatever the ground swell of public opinion is he makes a statement regaurding it and then never attaches an actual source. That or tweets things that jus happened reported dozens of other places. Hes the Magic of twitter

Huh? Dudes jus dont want change. You honestly think they cant make a steel beam resistant to the force of a human being dunking? Engineering is not in your future. Its a system thats alrdy been around forever. It wouldnt be hard at all to get a company to design something for the NBA that would remove the pointles stantion

There just needs to be regulations on how far back it needs to be. They're saying it was a full 2 feet 2 inches closer than they usually are.

regardless it should still be moved back a couple more feet. These dudes are way too athletic now. Camera people need to be moved off the floor as well
 
I believe Woj is onto something.
Ain't no way in hell that every GM who has a player on the team not worried.
The franchises are ponying up a lot of dough into these stars for them just to get hurt playing on a team that does not provide any financial security on these investments.

Guaranteed that next CBA will have some type of clause that either limits or potentially gives teams the right to void or waive player contracts based on services being used outside of NBA venues.

Just too much money at stake.
