think about it conversely though...how many shops won’t sell a tee or hat or skate deck to someone that wouldn’t have bought it if they weren’t in the store trying to buy dunks...now multiply that by however many extra items they’d sell per release, then multiply that by the amount of releases per month, per year, etc...the impact is significant imo

Most people that are buying dunks are only going in there to buy dunks. If the shops were forcing people to buy merchandise along with the shoe then I can see it impacting them but their business comes from people who are true skaters.

The shop in my area ends up giving them to their well known customers that spend in their store regardless of an SB release. One shop in the entire city gets SB's and they hold a fake raffle for the limited size run they receive.

"This year" man it's December hopefully nike continues to saturate dunks into next year and they become less desirable and more attainable, or at least cheaper for resale.

I feel like we are on course for that with non SB dunks. The last couple haven't hit for crazy resell like the Kentucky, syracuse etc.

There's actually alot of stuff thats more desirable to me next year so I'm hoping by the time we get to UNLVs I don't have to jump through as many hoops or pay as much in resell.
