only thing that was nice was the box... the shoe its self looked like a hot mess... its nice when they go above & beyond the call of duty but imo the shoe has to be somewhat decent. BS was trying to polish a turd with all those extras.

Still think the shoe can look hella clean with white laces. Probably coulda skipped the Gucci print but then people would be mad they were so basic

ahhh the good old GI Bill, I know all about it, Post 911? I am actually a certifying official for a school so I am well aware of how the VA can be :lol:

Yup!  It was a wonderful thing while I was in school, but I had to be on top of it or they'd for 4-5 months without paying me.  Are you a Vet as well?
 
Had my Takashi Dunks taken to my local cobbler to get some minor midsole separation fixed. Definitely regret that decision. The suede texture is messed up and there are unremovable marks on the midsole.

Do you guys know of any places where I can get another pair? I've only seen one pair on eBay lately, nothing from Gusto, Flightclub and Rif are both empty, and now I'm starting to be a little concerned that the well is just about dried up when it comes to a DS pair between a size 8 and 9 (or any size for that matter). 

Or any recommendations for a shoe restoration specialist would be great too.

Nope I'm just a director at a college, the VA has gotten a lot better in recent years it used to be even worse
 
One thing I love about SBs is never knowing where the inspiration is gonna come from. SB is the only shoe constantly going in all sorts of different directions. With that comes some ideas you don't get, or think are outright dumb(I remember when the Walgreens dropped and all my friends were like "really?"....but at least you know a month or two there's another set to possibly fall in love with. Add that to the durability and it a win for me.

That said, I'm in on the candy cane's....they look like little red dazzles lol. Hopefully they drop in early December so I can wear them during the whole x-mas season.

Also looking forward to the shoe/extras UnHeardOf does, if it's something hip-hop that would be nice.

Got mine in yesterday. They remind me of hacky sacks material and look wise. Pretty dope. Honestly most pictures I've seen don't really do the pattern justice. That's probably why folks are sleeping.

So true. I am amazed they selected DOOM for a dunk out of all the rappers to pick from. It makes sense, cause he is the best, but he is so unknown it just shocks me still. Then I found out they made a lord quas dunk...

How do you like the fit? I didn't read about them being canvas. When I felt they were canvas, all I could think was "510" fit. But these feel very good.

Haven't tried them on but the panels being canvas doesn't matter. If the parts that are suede were canvas they'd be a tight fit.

Ferns are super underwhelming imo

Edit- before I get on nikechat anyone know which outlets have the fast times on disco? I want to unds #2 but want to grab #4 before I do
