That's a bunch of bs I have about 70 J's and 20 mikes no yeezys mainly cuz I think they are super ugly...

Honestly yo, if you own a pair of yeezy's you're more likely a hypebeast than a sneakerhead. Unless you actually like how the shoe looks (not sure if these people actually exist but whatever) you pretty much copped them off of straight hype imo.

Yeah that's pretty ignorant. I personally like the yeezy, but being a sneaker head has nothing to do with certain shoes. It's just having that love & passion for sneakers. I don't understand why some people think that you have to meet certain requirements. Lol

Far as I'm concerned a "real" Sneakerhead could give two ***** what anyone else thinks and buys/collects what he/she likes and wants to wear for a long time. Anybody doin it for 'OG' or 'cred' is just as weak as the hypebeasts, all pawns in the nike game at that point. Get what you like, pass on what you don't... you've got like, all year to figure that out. I personally love the grey yeezy 2s but I ain't sellin a car or taking a shortterm loan from a casino to get a pair.

Not sure what them ugly @ss Yeezy's have to do with being a "sneakerhead". But I'm not a "sneakerhead" I've been collecting Jordan's since 1988. I love what I saw MJ accomplish in them as well as the design behind them.

First off? ..this thread does NOT belong in the Jordan Brand section of this site. ..and, IMO? ..this is a thread we could have all done w/o. No "hate", just IMO. blah.
Labels. SMH. As if someone referring to someone else as a: sneakerhead, OR a hypebeast? ..means ANYTHING. These are wide sweeping generalizations WE use to describe people, that most of the time? ..we don't know at ALL. I'll never understand the human need to label everything. blah.
If you give one flying who-ha about what ANYONE thinks of your shoes? ..you REALLY need to look your path thru life, IMO. ..and I say that being someone who loves kicks more than I even want to admit. It's been said time & time again thru the years: Buy what YOU LIKE. PERIOD. Kicks, whips, fitteds, jerseys, watches, etc. ..DO NOT MAKE YOU "cool".
Far as Yeezy's? ..one of the ugliest skicks I've ever seen, personally. The rarity of a shoe, will NEVER be the reason I cop. Period. That shoe, and all the BS surrounding it? ..can take a long walk off a short pier. blah.

As this thread is testament? ..what a sneakerhead IS? ..is different to each person ..same w/hypebeast. Although I'm rather certain there's probably a general consesus on what defines either or both? ..if you ask 50 people? ..you'll probably get 50 different responses.
I see no need to give my personal definition of either, cuz my opinion matters to no one but ME.
Saying that owning an inanimate object, MAKES you a: (insert label here) ..just seems wild to me.
Owning a gun doesn't MAKE you a murderer, nor does owning a spatula make you a cheff. Feel me?
No way does owning, or NOT owning Yeezey's, make you, by default? ..a sneakerhead OR hypebeast.
Only a select few people, look at other people's feet from a distance, at malls, sporting events, school, etc. ..if YOU do that? If you're always lookin'to see something dope? ..good chance you're a sneakerhead. If you BUY KICKS, for ANY REASON OTHER than to sell, or WEAR? ..slippery slope. Leave it at that. blah.
