I own Bred 1s and Shadow 1s from 2013. The leather is SLIGHTLY better then the 2013.

slightly is an understatement and im far from a top 3 advocate... leather on the 2013s is straight cardboard

the leather on the these got some kind of snapback... they are soft to the touch especially on the toe box and side panels (not SBB/chicago soft, but soft)
