Those who knew were always vocal about it. But aside from those who copped the DMP pack in 2006 (if you even count them), the masses had an 11 year thirst for concords built up. It was never really acceptable, but that drought def played a factor.

Yeah. I hate the 2011s but scored two pairs, somehow on a fluke, off of NDC that night they dropped with the Nike server crashing repeatedly. When they showed up a few days later, I was disgusted but as you said, it was all I had so I accepted it. But not really. I hated them so much, I just kept them in the closet for years. Finally two years ago, I pulled one out as an around the house shoe, then sold the other one back in November just a month before the 2018s dropped. For $400. Still laughing, but only because the new ones are so good.
