You've got a while. My son was wearing his Jordan 5s which were a size 5C at age 18 months and they were a little big on him. So you've got at least a year.

Plus you want to make sure your kid is walking comfortably before you start putting her in shoes that aren't really designed for new walkers. Unfortunately those type of shoes aren't very stylish but they help with their foot development. Just a word of warning.

Very true bro and good advice about the walking part. I had my boy wearing retro III wht/cements and all white AF1's. A specialist said these were good shoes to have him in for walking.

what is the fit for someone with a slightly wide foot? I've gotten 11.5 in 11's in the past, but size 11's have killed my pinky toe (red bottom 11's)

Just go up a half of size im a 9.5 i got a size 10 fit good (have wide feet also).

Half up should be fine for those of us that have wide feet and that pinky toe issue with the xi's. I usually do tts on XI's, but usually regret not going up a half size.

Thankfully both my wife and I detest Crocs, so my son has never even seen a pair, let alone worn them.  Pre-emtive strike against those horrid things.
