Just got mine no pink but the pleather is straight trash

Is the white leather on these the same as the Maroons or worse?

If retros are going back to the way they used to be with Gentry, then I will most likely ease my way out too. I can’t go back to that awful period again where he destroyed retros. It was pathetic. That’s what got me into Nike Basketball, I switched over to them because things were better over there at the time.

Gentry is why I stopped years ago. Like someone said he can’t even brush his teeth right which is correct. I used to call him Buttertooth years ago before I quit buying shoes when I was my angriest the founder of Team Disgruntled. Had a picture of him circled with a line through it in my signature. Yeah back in those days.

All they spoke about was the resell price.

Yeah they do that it’s weird and it’s not consistent which makes it even weirder. Haven’t cared enough to look more into it but yeah it sucks.

Yeah was about to say. Either it’s some of these pics or some of us in here are a little color blind

yeah I agree it’s not the same exact shade of white as the leather. Since the carmine splits the two shades of white it is obvious they are different and it does have a tint of pink, especially if you put it in natural light. It’s not perfect match if you can only be satisfied with perfection then it is what it is. In a decade or so it will turn into dust anyway. It’s all good!

How many points do you have? I have almost 600k and hit 4 or 5 times out of 10. And that's with max head starts everytime.

Tha'ts pretty good. I would say I hit seven or eight times out of 10. It wasn't good enough to get me Super Bowl XIIs or Cool Grey IIIs. Hopefully this is enough to get me Taupe IVs.

Just spent an entire day in the new carmines. Walked over 10 miles in 'em and had them on for 6+ hours. I find them really comfortable and the pink isn't noticeable in sunlight. Wish they had done these truer to OG but still the best shoe of 2021, thus far.

Nope, they're totally fine. I plan on wearing them a lot so I'll keep the thread updated on how the paint holds up. I wore the fire red 4s every day for 85 days straight and experienced slight paint cracking on the white part of the midsole, so I wouldn't be surprised if these crack a bit on me in the upcoming weeks.
