Seems to vary a good bit on originals. I’ve picked up quite a few ds originals the last couple years, and it seems like for the most part mine have been like the closest shade to black but one click removed, which allows the charcoal nubuck to contrast beautifully with the black durabuck cage sections

Compare that with my 2002 and you can really see the similarities and just how faithful the 2002 was in many aspects. Put it this way if the charcoal 7 releases again and doesn’t have the contrasting material and color, I’ll not be able to enjoy it. The 2012 version of the shoe just looked exactly like the infrared 6 to me lol

How is that Flint Grey? Am I missing something? Looks very dark, more like charcoal 7's. Below is what I remember the Flint 7's being like. When I had them on my feet, they were like a light grey. Very soft.

Once I saw it was confirmed theses were dropping this year, I sold my OG release (the left shoe toe box was ruined from someone spilling grease on them years ago ) with the Cardinals & Chambrays along with a bunch of older kicks I no longer rocked or needed. Definitely got to have a fresh pair of these again.

So basically on the flint 13s we got the OG flint 7 grey, but on the flint grey 7 retro we got the OG flint 13 color grey

chambray 7 and flint grey 7 are the only 7 I never owned in 2006.

I copped cardinal over flints. I was trying to cop both, but flints were sold out.

JB did the 7s right in 2006. I can’t say the same for the years later.

Grey is too dark as it’s been stated, but these do have the updated shape that is closer to the OG than the ‘06.

I doubled up on the ‘06 and didn’t wear them a whole lot, one pair still DS. Not checking for these as of now.

How is the fit on 7s? Is it the same as the 6s? These will be the first 7s I'll grab.
