it's the same for all the foot stores. reservations get locked at the end of the night and each store prints a list of names and sizes in the morning, then they label each claimed pair with a sticker with your name and size.

you go pick up tomorrow, they check your app & ID, and then they cross you off the list.

I also learned today you have to ask a couple people in the the foot stores to get a real answer. Asked one employee and he told me FCFS only (you could tell he didn't really know) but I then asked a different employee thats been there awhile and indicated to me that they were actually using the app reservation system

hell nah. wasnt too long ago they didnt have aps. going to the mall . camping for 6-7 hours.. once mall doors open trying not to get trampled to line up at ftl , fnl , ect... dont miss it 1 bit maybe it was different back in 06 but in 2012 I hated going to go camp!

Word. Pre sneakernews/nicekicks/etc were the best. Was able to go in store weeks after release and cop a pair that I liked. Last two years we're good for sneaker heads because you were able to do the same again. Hated the time after the CDP pack when all these sneaker sites started popping up making it mad hyped for every single release. Ridiculous how hard it got to cop sneakers. I switched over to buying pairs on Eastbay because it wasn't that hot but it got bad when everyone started to do it too and only got worse with bots. I remember getting that Nike ATC script on here way back then and even that wasn't fast enough to beat bots someyimes.

I guess I'm lucky or got weird feet because the majority of the Jordans fit me fine. I'm not a baller but the only time I remember **** hurting was the CDP 9s and that was because I had to walk like 90 minutes straight out DC to get to my car from U street under the influence. Anything would of hurt in that situation. Flightposites on the other hand are a different story

Yeah I mean comparing the quality of Lunarlon + Full length Zoom Nike’s, Unlocked Zoom-equipped Air Jordan XX9s, or Ultra Boosts, retros just don’t stack up in comfort.

I’m not arguing aesthetics since retros pretty much take the cake in that department but in terms of comfort, tech has come a loooooong way since the AJ 1-14.
