Toe box might be good but that overall shape is whats doing it on the Motorsports.. and I certainly agree that the height needs to be added even with the shape/toebox looking decent.

Waaaay over exaggeration IMO. They aren’t THAT bad. Jeez. The worst thing about ‘14s is comfort. They’re bricks. The shoe itself looks great though. I know some people didn’t like the shade of infrared and materials or what not but the overall shoe looks good and similar to the OG minus the durabuck and contrast heel not being there. Actually there was even a contrast just not on the heel only. And they actually did have at least today’s version of durabuck too but only on the lower panels. Definitely was a major step up from the 2010 renditions but I digress.

I agree, the 2014 toe box talk is exaggerated. At least the pairs I had didn’t have a boot toe size 10. Sure it comes up instead of slanting straight down like the 2010 6 set and some 2000s, but I’ve seen plenty 1991 pairs with the worst boot shape of all

It’s a NT plot twist that toe box is priority over height. My Motorsports have a better toe box than my 2016 Cements, but are even shorter. Even my 2012 Cements toe box wasn’t bad. Higher cut would change how you look at the shoe and toe box

Both those toe boxes look horrible, one looking less horrible.

The height of the shoe will not improve the look of the toe boxes. What does improve them (besides a better mold of course) is when the sole is not banana shape and sits more flush with the ground.

IDC if a few OG's had a boot toe box, that's not new to me but I dont want that. I want OG's with a 2000 toe or the straight up 2000.. pick your poison but don't give me them Orange Gatorade VI's and these Blue joints from last month with a decent toe box and shape and then give me an Infrared Boot on the one colorway that counts.

If were being honest OG 6s toe box was pretty much just like this. I’m sure it wasn’t steel toe hard like the ‘14 but from going off pics I’ve seen of the OGs, they look very similar to this shape wise. Sue me.
