Air Jordan IV “Black/Cement” - May 4th 2019

Poor guys don’t understand that the *lighting in photos of the ‘89/‘99 make the edges appear white but it’s really like a faint light grey if anything in person. Whatever the case dudes are out here ruining their shoes lol.
Ruined? In person the lines are grey.. other guys could have mixed colors to achieve that whitish grey that is being shown. I used grey/ cement mix and even sanded the edges a bit so the paint sticks ... they aren’t doing enough coats to saturate the edges therefore it appears white. With the proper amount of coats applied they look close to the OG version

So how are dudes doing the cut lines?
You’re gonna regret that...
na man don’t use a sharpie you gonna jack it up plus it will bleed onto the rest of the shoe... a detail brush /fabric medium / and Angelus grey 4 is all you need as well as a steady hand to apply the paint .. took 2 hours to get them the way mjow did for me at least and I’ve been doing custom sneakers for 4 years now

I’m just gonna hope mine get enough dirt and dust on them that the lines show up like that on their own from wearing them.

the resale on the travis scott 4's is crazy... now i dont feel as bad... struck out online and bought the wrong size on snkrs just to trade... went to my local consignment store and they finessed me... paid $100 just to size swap smh... but now it looks like a decent deal considering how much they going for lol... im a keep them though and rock some time in the summer

This is a bad comparison tbh, hyped sneakers gain a lot of value initially but stocks fluctuate heavily but sometimes pay dividends and whatnot. Any stock you would even want to hold for 9 months probably isn’t going to give you a high initial return like a hyped sneaker would. That said, you can also easily write off loses on stocks but you can’t really do that for sneakers without establishing a business. Also, if you trade options successfully you can literally turn a few hundred bucks into several thousand in a short amount of time. It’s an apples to oranges comparison, really.
They are both short term investments. I know it seems really crazy but sneakers are often a very good short term investment. You can often double your money in 6-12 months. That's really good ROI.

Wasn’t talking about yours. These look alright.

Bred 4
WC4
Travis 4s
Lightnings
Military 4s

those are just 5 I personally would take over the cool greys. would like to see your top 5 tho
Can’t go wrong with your 5.
For me personally though, in no order I’d go:
WC4
Toro 4
Bling 4 (2000 release)
Columbia 4
Oreo 4

I’m a fan of all 4s at the end of the day, and while I recognize that the Blk Cement 4s are SUPER icon, and a pair I’m glad I have, they’ve always been a little plain IMO. Also, I’ve always been a big fan of the 4s with leather uppers, especially the pairs without the netting on the sides.

For any NT'ers who ordered from Size?, my order is also still pending. I wrote to inquire as to the reason for the delay - below is their reply:
------
Thanks for getting in touch regarding the whereabouts of your order.

The current status is showing as pending stock. This means that the item is out of stock in the warehouse but the warehouse are waiting to see if they get any back in stock so they can fulfil your request.

Although our website is updated frequently it doesn’t always show real time stock. When this happens, you are able to select the item that is out of stock, place it in your basket and complete the ordering process. It's only when they go to pick the item that they realise it is out of stock.

The warehouse team will usually wait seven days for the item to come back into stock, if it doesn't the order will be cancelled.

As this time period hasn't yet passed you can choose to wait another few days to see if the item returns to stock or we can cancel the order today for you and issue a full refund.

I look forward to hearing back from you soon,

Kind regards,
size?‍ Customer Care team.
