I think it was a restock because HoH said for many days that they were getting more pairs in. They just didn't know when.

Finally!!!!! Shipment came today via USPS from CT. Had to sign for the package and pay $41.85 for customs (2 pair). I am psyched and my nephew will be as soon as I send him a little surprise shipment.

Here was the timeline ... 
Ordered on 12/23

Emailed CT on 12/26 for status

Received email from CT on 12/27 ...order successful

Emailed CT on 1/3 for tracking

Received email from CT on 1/3 with tracking

Shipment leaves UK on 1/4

Shipment arrives in US 1/5

Shipment sits in customs from 1/5 - 1/9

Package delivered 1/10

If they haven't shipped at this point iono, yours might get cancelled as well but knowing my luck yours will get shipped tomorrow

Hey,... this has happened to EVERYONE at some point or another... at 30 you may or may not have been around for the release of the Altitude Green XIII's but for someone who is pretty calm about releases of Jordans... I damn near lost my mind playing into the hype of this release.
I knew I wasn't doing the camping and sitting in line thing.. but I think EVERY true Sneaker dude is a Hypebeast at one point or another.. for a shoe that when it finally comes in they end up they'll never really wear.

Thew Concords however are a shoe I can understand people losing their minds over. Its classic.. it will forever be a shoe that can be released time and time again and have this same result.   I've seen many say they are "retiring" (as if there's a pension plan) or leaving the shoe "game" but they all come back.

Hell.. I've passed on my shoe love to one of my daughters and one of my sons....and the other son and daughter couldn't give a crap about kicks.. to each their own... but I'll be that old dude wearing sneakers cause its what I've always done...

Definitely been here! Thought I was getting to old for this and needed to "do away with childish things". I went so extreme to the point where I gave away or tossed (not sold) all of my old Js - 3s, 5s, 6s, you name it (including every retro XI from the early 2000s except for my Breds.
Now don't get me wrong, I think it's a tad irresponsible not to have ANY shoes or clothing outside of Nike and Jordan but what I came to realize is that because you decide to move in a different direction doesn't mean that you have to throw away where you came from. It bugs me to this day to know that I gave away some fantastic shoes that now requires me to drop 2-3X that amount to get back.

Everyone needs an outlet and if collecting Js or any shoe for that matter does that for you (and it doesn't prohibit you from paying your bills or putting food on the table) then why change that? Especially by selling your collection away. If anything keep them / store them away and focus your collecting on the items you listed above. Once a collector, always a collector even if you take a hiatus. You'll be back lol.

I hear you guys. Ill be 28 in a few months and I have to say the Concord release kinda killed my love for Air Jordans.Granted I got two pairs and loved the quality of the one pair I kept, but the other was satisfactory and I chose to sell it.  I used to be the type of guy who wanted to collect every OG colorway of 1-14, but now Im only keeping what I like. Over the past year, Ive sold most of my older retros that have had recent re-releases. Collecting Jordans isn't what it used to be. The thrill is honestly gone..not for just collecting Jordans, but sneakers in general. And at this stage in my life, I dont want 100+ pairs of sneakers because you can only wear so many pairs per year and the ones you wear often go negelcted. This would have been ideal years ago because you could sell your unworn pairs for a nice price. But now, by the time you break them out, theyre about to retro, re-retro, and re-re-retro.
I guess the older you get, the more practical you get. I remember in my young 20's, I used to want to style on people wearing the models that I love. But now, I only go gung-ho for the models I truly love (3-6, 11s, and 13s). The rest of the models I can live without (with a colorway exception here and there)

Pick before my CT order came in. All size 12's. Sold 2 and traded 1. Still have 3 left. NDC pairs had more flaws than my UK pairs. Didnt order from NDC until 12:48EST and got through with about 2 tries. Im happy! lol

Nah I didn't get a pair. I already have 3 (2 from NDC and 1 from CT). I wanted to get a pair for my bro but he couldn't wake up early since he works graveyard shift.I'm not sure if Kicks/HI had them but if they will, they will release it at a random time just like the BC IIIs. You gotta hang out in the store and wait for any announcement.Niketown closing was a bummer to me. I guess they weren't making enough $$ from the locals and tourist to cover the cost of the lease/rent. I hope one day we can have Niketown back at a different location in Honolulu or even have a Nike Outlet.

It's one thing to want $400+.  It's another thing to get that price.  Just email them and tell them you will only pay $[x] or whatever your max price is and see what happens.  I couldn't find a pair posted on CL for less than $375-400 in my area and after posting I would only pay $280 I ended up with a size 11 for that price (and had multiple sellers contacting me to sell).  Some of those sellers would rather have $280 or $300 cash today rather than just hoping to get $400 in the future.

There is a search box where you can search all of these items if you don't feel like click back X amount of pages for. Before you order from anywhere, especially overseas, search that companies name in the box and you will see everyone's comments, pictures, and comparisons. If you buy from somewhere and get ripped off, you only have yourself to blame.
