shoes plus 250 cash is a bit too much. lets say those shoes are 200 dollar value. so its approximately $450 for concords?

But me, I rather wait till RD and pay retail for a sneaker that may better (although could be exactly the same) instead of paying more.

I don't see the problem on wearing the shoes during the snow/blizzard. Or wait years later to wear it.
At the end of the day its just shoes, they're meant to be worn.

Last time I checked..
DS 2000 Concords and DMP concords were going for $400+

I've seen people wearing them in the rain, their shoes, I don't care. I figure they aren't knowledgeable enough to know about yellowing or don't care.

i have worn jordans in snow since 89.  dont see any reason to stop now.

I prefer to wear mine on cool days vs hot days. They keep in all the heat, making my feet sweat more than any other shoe I wear.

Also from my experiences, wearing them during the summer or during the hottest days causes the soles to separate sooner than anticipated.
