Ended up wining the “ship to you” option from footlocker. Pair came in today and they look pretty good. Tempted to switch over the laces from my 06 pair but haven’t decided yet. Not original specifications but just an idea I had.

Sole feels thick and upper is pretty soft

Edit: keeping the factory shoe strings . Ones from 06 are to dirty, they had a good run

therse are gonna be on discount for sure. Im looking to pick these up around ~$150 shipped .

history and og color aside, they are beautiful but these are a "basketball" shoe and the huarache collar makes it slightly more difficult to rock with jeans - it looks kinda messy if you dont tie it to the top rung of the lace holes

My pair arrived. No real flaws that I've noticed. Super happy to finally own a proper pair of 7s and an OG colorway at that. Tried on one shoe and they fit great, just a bit snug in around the heel and medial/lateral sides of the foot due to the Huarache sleeve but in the toe I've got enough room to not feel crunched for space.

Unlaced because they won't be getting worn for a while and the factory lacing was literally strangling the shoe. You can see the indent the lace knot left on the tongue due to how tightly they were laced smh.

As of late, I feel its like that with deadstock 7's thats why i usually have to completely unlace em and stretch em out a bit, it actually helps more with the fit of the mid foot area too.

I've been noticing sizes are slowly starting to disappear daily on FNL & FTL but Nike, DTLR, Shiekh, and Hibbetts seem to still have close to a complete size run so maybe they will get discounted on there.
