I've seen the term used in a non-joking fashion in threads not about blacks. The one that stands out is the case of the teenagers in San Francisco murdering and then failing to butcher this other kid.
I'm saying you guys are sensitive for taking offense to this and believing it to be a word used only to degrade blacks because it clearly isn't right now. Are there those using it with racial undertones? Probably and they should be dealt with but to not allow using the word at all even in the proper context is being sensitive and heavy-handed.
I never asked for the word in it's literal sense to be banned...so what are you saying. "I went to a farm and seen @%!*^@$" isn't going to happen so chillout
