I'm not sure what the pay is like but I'll ask her. I think she still works there
What the hell this got to do with working at Apple?

But yea I'm set up for a recruiting seminar next week. Good looks on this post.

So much misinformation in here...

what IS the pay for a Specialist?
I was paid a whopping $10.50 an hour, in a pretty wealthy area too. Pay at these stores is no better than any other retail spot. And on top of that, no commission, so you don't even get extra.

. IDK if I should apply again at a different store.
That's how they operate, which is one reason I left. Complete lack of professionalism.

Is it true that people that work at the Genius bar all make about $50k a year? I heard you had to go and get certified and after that, you make no less then 50k working as a in store tech.

Yeah, around that.

You can tell those who work at Apple but are blinded by the kool-aid in some of these posts. The pay is some crap. For the amount of stuff you sell, the customers, and the managers it's BS. Explain to me, how are you happy as an individual selling 200K but your check being 2G's in that time frame that you sold that much? No compensation for good work. No promotion within. They use to promote within, now they are all outside hires.

They feed you this BS, to cover up themselves from other retailers but the it's the same. Owners created = sales goal.

End of the line, if you work at Apple you aren't ambitious to make money.

$10 an hour is MORE than decent for me, considerin my last retail job only paid $8 lol.

was anybody on here a Specialist?

1st interview is with hiring manager
2nd is with sales manager
3rd is with store manager
THEN you have to make a 3 minute video on why you should be hired I walked around the mall in an apple costume

Can you elaborate on that first meeting, please?

And no, $10 for what you'll be asked to do is not enough, trust.
