thinking of pulling da trigger on some airpod max what yall think?

They're solid headphones, I don't think many people would disagree with that. Sony puts out a great series in the lower price range. Sound and Fit/Feel are so important that it's worth trying out for yourself if you're in a position to do so.

I like my Max, I just find myself going with the Pros 9/10 due to the convenience of having them on me more often.

Max’s seem very inconvenient. Apple struck gold with the base Airpods and Pros. I use to talk shxt about them for a long time before i caved in and got a pair and now i use them exclusively. Had some Beats before them and haven’t touched them since. Cant beat the convenience.

Whether I’m working from home or at the office, it’s so handy to switch the Max to my work computer or home computer or iPhone quickly. Quiet and comfortable for meetings, listening to a streaming baseball game, or trying to focus when my screaming kids are in the sunroom playing.

I lost my airpods with the charging case. idk where the heck i put them. but i have a trip coming up inshallah and needed solid headphones for the plane/walking around. feels cool to have active noise cancelling.

Haven't tried using them for any calls. But it would be nice to have them for meetings sometimes i need to walk to the fridge or something and the wire makes mehave toeither wait or tell everyone in the meeting ill brb

i saw the sonys at best buy for like 280 but the fit and finish are crap

these have a very premium feel and i like them.

I might try to take them on a run and see how they fair

appreciate yall advice

I finally held an iPhone 12/12 pro yesterday and wow the design is so crisp.. due to the pandemic I never saw them in stores to actually handle.

Can’t wait for September to get rid of this 11. It’s too slippery… it’s like a bar of soap. Love the sharp edges on the 12.

I'm sure a lot of people (more than one may think) have been in your situation and either placed an order just knowing they would like the phone regardless, or really wanted to see it in person and haven't been in a situation to do so. Regardless, glad you got to check one out in person and see what's good with it. I do not miss the bar of soap myself.

I feel like I may be able to go caseless. I was always a careless user until the 6 when they introduced the rounded corners.. I got big hands and the phone would slip outta my hands for doing basic tasks.

I own cases on my 12 PM, but generally don't use them just because I do like the natural feel of the device. I put the cases on when I want to, not because I feel the need to. I've enjoyed MagSafe for what it is with the car mount and dock for charging at night.

I did return the battery pack though, it was just too much for me. I thought it was a cool gadget and I wanted to try for the hell of it, but just ended up not being practical at all for someone who really doesn't have an issue with battery to begin with. The MagSafe wallet IS all I carry now though, with ApplePay being most of the way I pay for things.

What kind of deals does AT&T usually have with upgrading to the new iPhone? This is my first year with them but I want to get rid of this 11 pro max.

It seems like most of them include trade in of your current phone with a 30 month agreement or something that they apply through bill credits. It's not really a "deal" due to the length of the agreement, but it does even out to be pretty solid in the long run.

Is there any quick fix to being directed to a browser instead of the app? Not sure what changed but when someone texts me a link it hasn't been opening up to the app when I click the link, as it normally would

was coming to ask the same after hearing about it the last couple of days. Hard to honestly tell what all exactly it’s going to entail because of everyone opinions on what’s going to happen. I got the gist what they’re trying to do but the details of what/where/how it’s “scanning” pics I’m unsure

I tried going iPhone 6+ from the Galaxy S3 and went 2 days no case. Man I almost dropped the damn phone probably 5x. I needed up returning it and got the note 4.

been using my wife’s old iPhone 7+ the last 4 months and have a case on it for grip. She has an 11PM one thing I noticed was how heavy that thing is, and slick.

I’ll prob grab a 12 here soon and appreciate the return of the squared sides

On one hand I completely understand why they are doing this.

There’s nothing wrong with going after sickos that prey on children.

The implications and lanes for abuse however? Omg that’s a major, major issue and I don’t trust any corporation to handle that type of technology with the level of care and nuance required.

The article basically says Apple will have carte Blanche access to all pics on Americans phones (notice this is only happening in the US where the average response to this type of invasive tech would be “eh, they’ve already got all my info anyway, I’m not gonna worry about this”). Apple could never get away with this in Europe or any other country for that matter.

How this is not a huge deal and isn’t being more widely discussed is beyond me.

I was in a casino bathroom taking a dump.. i was on my phone in the stall and when I was done I put my phone on my thigh instead of my pocket. When I stood up and pulled my clothes up to flush, I heard a thud and a *kaplunk*

I turned around and..

Yall.. I had to reach in and retrieve it.

I washed my hands and 12PM 3x with soap and warm water, and once more with hand sanitizer and warm water to rinse.

Every single online company that hosts files does it, it just never made the news because it's not Apple. It only becomes a problem when Apple does it though.
