Told y’all last April. The hype has surpassed CRA.

Movie was 🔥

CRA was trash. Shang Chi was ehhh. This film is gloriously weird and all over the place but grounded with family drama. Also, Short Round aka Data is in it. He plays a huge role in the movie. The hype that CRA received, should have gone to a film like this imo.

Gotta check this out. Took me YEARS to watch CRA. Like masagipatron masagipatron said I thought it was trash. Everything about the movie was pretentious AF.

I don't watch movies at all but considering how this movie swept the Oscar's I'm looking forward to it.

If y'all didn't appreciate Crazy Rich Asians, I recommend you watch the Joy Luck Club. It's the OG Asian American film from the 90s and tells the stories of family dynamics that you (or the woman in your life) may resonate with more.
I've heard of it but watched it for the first time at a screening and panel with one of the main actresses and writer/director a few months ago
