saw a good 30-40 min and fell asleep...visuals looked real nice

Agreed this and Inception (I enjoyed the movie, but it wasn't worth all the praise and what not).
Especially if you've studied some form of philosophy (or read about it in college) the ideas are nothing new, Nolan just just mashed it altogether. Had Leo D become typecasted.

Story was nothing exciting and was incredibly basic, the acting wasn't that great either, but that didn't really matter. Cameron did something unprecedented and the advancement and impact he had with this film is what makes it so great.

How well this movie did just shows how stupid and gullible the average person is. This movie was terrible. I saw it on IMAX 3-D and still hated it. I don't think it's too much to ask that a semi original story line be used, and not Ferngully + Dances With Wolves + Graphics = we dun gud movie. Just like with video games, good graphics do not mean good entertainment. I would rather watch a snail crawl across the dirt than watch this movie again.

I ordered it ondemand one night, couldn't watch the entire thing that night nor in the next 24 hours it was available...now its on HBO and I doubt I can bring myself to watch the whole thing.
