OP do you have bites? Bed bugs leave little red bite marks.

Definitely not bed bugs OP.

Their bites leave these really huge, itchy welts - not rashes.

Get a new matress if you're sleeping on an old one. Bacteria soaks into matresses like a sponge. Eggs may have hatched in the matress and are inside causing your itching.

if its bed bug you wont find them with your naked eye , cause majority of them are microscopic. if you do have bed bug problems you should  get lyso disinfected spray and spray your bed. also open your drapes so sunlight comes in the room. the brightness and warmth will irritate the bugs.
if you are allergic to specific detergent wash your linen with hot water no soap.  if thats too much that i would recommend wearing sweats to sleep or something warm and use less sheet.

google pics of bed big bites and if they are similiar to that then u know its time to call the exterminator

if u think it might be then get a bed cover (target walmart) and cover your mattress and box springs. if theyre in the bed then they will be trapped in there and wont be able to bite u... and then make your own conclusions if the rashes or bites subside. mind u they can still hide in anything else, like headboards or walls so u really have to thoroughly search for them and i mean THORO.

that is if u dont think its your detergent or any other allergies.

You can def see bedbugs.  I got them once after going on vacation to Seattle/Vancouver.  If you do have it and catch it early you can get rid of them.  They usually hide in the creases of the mattress.

I didn't know at the time, but I def carried bed bugs from the nasty Knight's Inn in Florida back to my home. Woke up one night with welts all over my back. Coulda sworn they were from mosquitoes. Didn't sleep in my bed for a good week.
