we get legit winters with a lot of snow. nothing TOO cold though.. it's not like -20 or anything, on average it's like 20-40 degrees in the winter. and it's not like NY/Boston where there's 4ft of snow every winter with cars stuck on the road and whatnot

we also get legit summers with some nice heat. i don't like the heat too much, but for people who do it averages around 75-85 in the summer. slightly too humid for my tastes, though.

and in some places i've been to, it gets to be freezing by October/November. this past year, it was hot in the DMV from April/May through early/mid-November

But in April when the weather starts getting nice, it makes it that much better I guess.

lol i say this all the time...i love the winter and the snow until about Jan. 2. then i just

through the rest of the winter.

ehh i like living in sacramento.
rather live in sf though.
but yeah it gets hella hot out here.

Yall talking about east coast places being the BEST to live?

Cmon now, you cant beat nor cal or so cal for all 4 seasons. its absolutely perfect all year

If you want a continental climate that has the best overall weather, I would have to agree with everyone saying that the mid Atlantic is best. Washington DC,Virginia, Maryland and Delaware have a nice range of every type of weather.

The problem with any continental climate though is that the temperatures fluctuate so widely through out the year. If you want mild summers and move toMinnesota or Ontario, the winters are brutal. If you want mild winters and move to a place like Georgia or The Carolinas, the summers are brutally hot andhumid.

This has to be the silliest reason to not want to live in NorCal I have ever heard in my life. Tell me you dont like the cities....the culture....theweather....whatever. But to say you wouldnt wanna live in NorCal because there are too many hills is not only the dumbest reasoning I have ever heard, but itsnot even close to accurate.

Bay area and snow isn't very far from the Bay if you want to go to the boarding or just enjoy the snow

I don't know why anyone would want to live in snow when you can always just drive for an hour or two and visit it without any of the hassle of actuallyhaving to deal with it on a daily basis.

I don't know bro. I live close enough to Seattle. Up until recently the winters are just rain...and the fall....and the spring. Summer's there is no better place to be. Probably a few good weeks of fall.

Idk what ur talkin bout....we had more snow and cold this winter than like the past 20 years in the Seattle area! This past winter set a bunch of records

are you talking jeezy snow??
There are snow capped mountains in the background to the east 6 months out of the year...

I'm about 15 miles east of LA so the same might not be true for LA itself but still,

You want four seasons in one day?

Come to Wellington, New Zealand. The morning it rains, lunchtime it's windy, afternoon it becomes cold then at night theres a perfect sunset.

My first thought was DMV but I didn't think everyone else in the thread was going to say the same thing...

It does get a little too cold in the winter and a little too hot in the summer here, but it only happens for a couple days each year. If you want someplacewith a warmer winter, you will get hotter summers, and vice versa. It's hard to beat the balance here.

I like Colorado too. The only problem is that it gets too dry and the temperatures fluctuate too much from day to night. Nothing beats a warm spring day on theeast coast where it stays in the 60's for 24+ hours. And let's not forget which coast has warmer ocean water....
