Biggie vs. Tupac

OG NTER'S
In the 9 year history of the NT Music forum and the countless times this topic has been brought up have you ever seen one nt'er convince another NT'erto like big more/ to like pac more?

If not why the hell is this thread not locked?!
With that said

And BIG once said "You look so good huh, I suck on your daddy's *$++." What's your point??

A witty (albeit

) line versus a garbage song. One of many garbagesongs. That's my point.

True but that one album was top 5 and he had a grip of material (DITC, CotC, unreleased tracks) and freestyles out. He got snuffed at 24 but had alreadyaccomplished so much. Go listen to his first album or his freestyles and tell me you can't just feel how talented his is. Never felt that way about anyother MC except Pun and OG Kool G.

Flame on, but Lifestylez > any album Biggie or Pac have put out. Don't get me wrong, Biggie is in my top 3 or 4 and Pac was nice as hell too.

Both him and BIG technically have 2 albums and about the same amount of material considering L's other stuff, so if we include BIG no reason why we cantdiscuss L here.

Love em both, but I like Tupac more because of the impact he made with his music, and the way he's able to put emotions and speak a message through hissongs. I think Biggie is the more talented rapper technically w/o question, but I just prefer Pac for the reasons before.

I realize its not his fault, but I never understood how someone could be considered one of the best to ever do it when he has so little material.

it's obvious you did not understand the movie cb4

cb4 was about 3 dudes that copy another dudes style and name just to get on

pac did not copy anyone style, that what made his music the realest

biggie is the one trying to copy dudes from the street, trying to set people up when he's just a rapper ,and you see the outcome cause of it,thats not whathe do,he was a rapper

No. That's a weak pair for comparison too, keep it NY and say Big L + BIG > Nas + Jay (talent-wise aka: better rappers) Discography ? I see your point, but I doubt it would be true if both didn't get gunned down so early.

I never get tired of watching Jay-Z get BODIED by Big L on that 7 minute freestyle. Classic. Had dude making noises and !%*@ to fill his time slot

That freestyle was in '95, when Jay was recording RD (his best work) and he still got destroyed....

Shut up. Big had 2 albums. So all of a sudden 1 more album puts you in contention for GOAT?

Big L had more material (freestyles, songs, unreleased !$$@) than Big did. So you "Kill that".

When I hear this on my ipod, I just skip Jay-Z's garbage every time. Embarrassing.

Big L's verse is so much better it's not even funny.

Even Party Arty (RIP) came harder than jay

na it's not about NY..

generally, if you ask someone who's in their top 5, nas, jay, 2pac and big are usually in there..

lyrically, i feel Nas is the GOAT. but as a whole; the best ARTIST has to go to 2pac and that is simply because of the passion, emotion, and the little act hewas putting on for suge while he was at deathrow..that made him the face of hiphop forever.

but i just feel like as rappers..putting words together, making albums and having quality material, pac and big aren't even close to nas and jay..i knowthat has alot to do because their lives were cut short but that's the way the cards was delt..

Phillypac you brutal man, I don't think big set PAC up all, if anything I always thought diddy did it just so he could break up their bond

That's the thing, it's a shame that Big L isn't on there but people like BIG and Jay-Z are.

Big L = one of (probably THE) the most underrated rappers ever. Him and Pun.

Stupid Thread.

R-I-P 2Pac & B.I.G.

Notorious in Theatres NOW!!!! Get off NT, find a member of the opposite sex and go support that.

Some of yall need to be punched in the mouth (or hands) for typin some of this *%+@.

Bruh what is the name of this thread 2pac vs Biggie, not Big L vs hiphop. He had 1 album people don't care about freestyles or unreleased track it'snot an ablum, and by the wayi said PAC was GOAT not BIG but BIG is right their with him, oh and yeah BIG> BIG L

Like I said, they both have technically two albums. A lot of people care too, why would you not consider that Big L had some of the greatest freestyles in thehistory of hip hop ?

Big L > Pac, BIG and anyone else

Since you are a Pac fan, listen to this:

IMO Big L did a lot better.

L was dope and definitely gets overlooked but I wasn't feelin The Big Picture so much.. Lifestyles was definitely fire though and i'd say he was top 10but not seeing B.I.G.

The track is flames, but it brings back to what I've been saying big l had PAC lyric wise, but when PAC spit his verse he make you feel it, it's likehe sounded like he meant it

Nope. Pac doesn't have a single album as nice as Lifestylez, and peep the track I just posted. Big L is by far the better MC.

I agree because they messed up the second album. He had better tracks that they didn't put and instead put some weak things which were weak not because ofL, but because of the guests...

Talent wise though, L > Big

Peep:

L is the best on both. Pac was the weakest on the first one.

dudes are dumb

no way in HELL is Big L seeing Big.

Big L >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Pac...definitely.

On that point, I agree. Emotionally, no one is touching pac.

Dudes just say non sense like BIG > Big L with no evidence. Expected though, he gets love daily on NT and L gets a thread ..... one every few months ?
