I got to Sears Wednesday Night to get an idea of how much stock they had and what I should do. Employee tells me no one's allowed to camp till 8:00am Thursday, they have 5 TV's, and if anything pops off everything gets shutdown no question. I walk outside and I can already see 10 cars with dudes chillin inside giving me that "look." Similar to how cats act when J's come out "camping" in their cars overnight. I wasn't gonna sleep overnight to wait a whole day right after for a TV. So I got home and prayed they would keep their word on 8:00am
I get to Sears parking lot at 4am. No cars in sight. The security is pretty tight at this mall so I reckon they got kicked out. I decide to just start camping and hope for the best. 6:00am comes along and bam. Security kicks me off. I sorta linger around the lot so they can't kick me off but I'm still somewhat close. Step by step this sounds exactly like a Jordan release and you guys already know how it goes down. Cars start pulling up, no one comes out. People getting anxious. 7:45 comes around, BAM. One family of 6 comes sprinting out of their car with a blowup mattress and chair in hand to the entrance. I followed suit and just like that, I was 2nd in line. The other cats who were camping in their cars show up and end up getting in line.
Between 8:00am and an hour to opening, it was all the waiting game. Honestly its not that bad as long as you got a friend or your phone on you. There was a hispanic family in front of me and a chinese family behind me. We all agreed that the family in front of me would get 2, I get one, and the family behind me would get one. Reminder that there were about 20 people by 9:00am. Everyone was there for the TV and only the first 3 groups were getting them. Everyone else behind us was ******.
Hour before opening, line behind us goes an easy 500 people. They start giving out tickets to place our spot for the TV's. If you got one, all you had to do was walk in, pick it up and be on your way. Family in front of me plays some shady **** and takes 3. Chinese dude behind me starts cursing out the manager telling him that his family's been waiting all day and as a result missed out on their dinner and all that ****. Manager tells him there's nothing he can do and they eventually get escorted out by security. Everything after that was real quiet. I walked in, picked up tablets for my bro and everyone else behind me
sprinted to the TV section even w/o a ticket. They gave no *****. Good 50 people got rejected for the TV with no ticket except me and the other family. Turns out they only had 3 TV's.
Manager said that it was their fault for not counting correctly so they ended up giving me a choice of a 50' OLED Toshiba or a 55' Samsung LED floor model. Went with the Toshiba.

While I was waiting for them to get the TV, there were a bunch of mom's that were arguing with the manager saying "we never got offered the tickets" and at the same time, I'm just standing there while all these middle aged housewives are staring at me like

Picked it up, went to Target immediately to pickup a PS3 and that was my Black Friday 2012.
