Camping Appreciation

I try going every weekend in the summer. Overnight backpacking at least. Much appreciated. My setup 2 weeks ago

Last weekend camped in a cave. It was too cold to stay in there all night though so I had to move.

I see you have the OSU hat on, you live in Oregon? I’m in Eugene, let me know of some good spots to camp. Thanks!

Some of you sound so spoiled.

Used to go camping all the time. We'd get in trouble with security every time for being drunk and loud and disturbing the other campers. Everyone's too busy now or lazy to organize a camping trip.

Love camping. Yeah you get dirty yeah it takes effort.

My favorite is going to sleep in the tent.. hearing silence and maybe some bugs outside. Cold summer nights. The fire cracking.

If you get a nice camp ground you can find some with bathrooms and hot showers in em.. but you’re still sleeping in a tent and ****. It’s nice.

Never went camping when I lived in NYC. Every summer since I've been up here, we have a fellas fishing weekend where we camp near a lake. I'm a city dude and I enjoy the luxuries of civilization. Once a year is more than enough for me so it also helps that we're drunk the entire weekend.

Nah i got mauled by a bear in Red Dead 1

Didnt even knew the game had bears until that very moment.

Damn Tall Trees :{

Yeah I’m in Eugene also famb. Literally thousands of dope spots really close to eugene. I’d say for a quick day hike, go check out Blue Pool. It’s only about a 45 minute drive. Then maybe a 45 minute hike after you park

I've been telling my wife that there are so many advances in camping where you're actually comfortable and no longer sleeping on the ground. Nope, she still doesn't want to go camping.

Still need to fulfill my checklist of clapping cheeks in a tent.

Been camping a handful of times. First time wasnt until my 20s tho. I’m not the biggest fan.

Went to Inks Lake State Park last week. It was sort of a test run for everything I bought over the last 6 months. We had a great time. Water was super close and we had a good breeze going through. The last picture is of a waterhole and cliffs there that I found on Google.

This was the air mattress I picked up, we both slept great. Bucket list for me too! I got it in twice on this bad boy:

Camped out in the backyard over the weekend. Was super lit. I didn't put the rainfly on, cus the kids wanted to see the stars. Then i was woken up at 2am to rain. Got out to put the rain fly on and was hit with a 200 mile per hour dust storm. Knocked out the power to the house. Family didn't wanna evacuate cus we ain't have no power anyway. So we hunkered down and road out the storm. Tent felt like it was gonna lift off a bunch of times. The kids really enjoyed the thrill.

i wouldnt mind doing this.

after being in the army and sleeping in the field for 30-45 days at a time without all the stuff you guys bring i can easily do a camping trip now if i planned out and brought what i want.

never been camping
nothing excites me about sleeping on the floor of a tent
and im washed so my back wont stand for it

Only camped in a tent maybe 2-3 times in my life. The rest of the time was going to a campsite where we rented a trailer or a yurt.

Get a nice air mattress.

You are one with creation bro. You will enjoy it.... Unless you get attacked by a bear and tent near a wasp nest.

Let your inner lion roar fam.

My go-to cheap camping gear site. I usually swoop something off the “current deal” 5 minute counter towards the bottom of the page. It’s usually sunglasses but every now and then there’s a killer deal on a tent or a camping stove.

Hit up opal creek this last weekend. Some cold water my friends. I wanna go back and camp.

Wow, that water is so clear. Looks like a lot of fun.

Look into state parks or parks in general with camping and 24/7 bathrooms and shower facilities. Other than that when I’m camping it’s most likely for hunting and I just hope I don’t have to **** too much
