Thinking about getting a work visa for Canada, Im 23 and into film, looking to move to Toronto. Do you guys have any suggestin on where to live in the T-DOT area and how to get a job in the film industry up there. Any help would be greatly apperctiated.

It depends how much you are willing to rent a place for. Like everything else the more you pay the better place you will find. It is def not cheap living in the dot but it's worth it.

There's a pretty big film scene here. Lots of shooting here because it's often cheaper than the US. Most of the places are in the warehouse district just by the water and slightly east of downtown. Land is cheap and it's easy to get the trucks in and out. 

You'd probably want to live as close to downtown as possible, probably on the east side. Hopefully somewhere not gross because that area is hit or miss.
