Champions League knockout stage draw

THat handball on TOure was VERY questionable since it wasn't intentional, but that was incredible defense by Inter in the last 30 minutes of the game. Hell of a performance

That's not a handball at all. His hand was flush against his chest, he didn't move it, and the ball was kicked into him from point blank. Not a handball. The only thing you can say is that Inter defenders may have stopped playing a bit.
But if anything it was what Barca deserved after Motta's sending off and Busquets' theatrics.

You can't hate on Inter IMO. Played great soccer against Chelsea, played well at San Siro against Barca, and did what they had to do today. It won't be the most watched final, but it should be a good match.

As clear as the offside on Inter's third goal in the first match, which eventually decided the outcome?

His hand wasn't flailing around, but was connected to his stomach. That is not a foul.

*+!# YOU Inter, *+!# YOU till the end of time. Mourinho's ref buddy from Portugal made sure they won the first game.

That was not a handball. The hand is right next to the body, and I'm not even sure the ball does touch the hand.

Two of Inter's goals in the first leg came off an uncalled foul and an uncalled offsides.

Two penalties against Inter went uncalled tonight.

The BS pulled by Inter's "injuries" tonight is off the charts.

Simply put, soccer remains the only sport where you can win by being outplayed. It's pathetic.

Stop crying. Its always unfair when things don't go your way. Heckling, attacking Mourinho's car, making noise in front of their hotel to keep Inter awake didn't change @#$. See you guys next year

The worst part is that however you flip that "handball", it can still be debated whether it was a foul. There are several ways you can argue. Read this:

What Handling is NOT:

A ball that deflects off a player's hand or arm from a shot or pass taken a few feet away is not a foul--unless the player has deliberately placed the arm in an unnatural position, hoping to block the pass. (However, placing the arms or hands over a sensitive area of the body--particularly while standing in the wall at a free kick--is not, by any stretch of the imagination, unnatural).

Now look at the play:

He was definitely only a few feet away when the deflection took place. Whether he "deliberately placed the arm in an unnatural position" is debatable. Not to mention that the definition of what "an unnatural position" of how to place one's arm is debatable as well.

However, there is NO way you can argue that Inter's third goal in the first game wasn't offside. %%+$ Inter, Barcelona got screwed over ROYALLY, once in each of the two games.

Are people really complaining about Barca getting robbed? Seriously?

Even if they did, did any of you see Chelsea-Barca last year? Are you familiar with Karma?

!+%# with this nonsense. They got handled by Inter at the San Siro no matter how you slice it, and they couldn't break through a 10-man team for 60 minutes today.

Barca finally get what they deserved. The referee gifted them a spot in last year's semifinals. Now this year they are rolling around like they got shot and bullying the referee for cards...tsk tsk ts....

I just love how everyone cracking on Barça's win against Chelsea conveniently forgets the two penalties that went uncalled in Barça's favor in the first leg, or the fact that Abidal was sent off for "fouling" Anelka where there was no contact on the play.

I enjoy all the hate people are spewing. Just shows that we are still the best in the world.

Lets be real here. Barcelona is still the strongest side no matter the outcome here.

For my thoughts on our season.

1. SELL IBRA!!!!!!!!
2. BUY VILLA
3. WIN THE TREBLE!

Even if Barca converted their two "penalties", Chelsea had like 4 they should have had @ the Bridge due to blatant handballs in the box...come now.

I loved how Biscuits was peeking out from behind his hands to see if he had to continue rolling or stop acting....disgusting Catalans. Their goal today was offside too. At least we got back to the Final...

Rafabio, what exactly do you know about Catalans to call us disgusting?

If that comment was made about Mexicans or Africans, the forum would go nuts.
