I'll debunk this using simple logic:
If an airplane from North America from the west wants to fly to China, they will head west and it will take approximately 11hrs.
Now take a flight from a European country (let's use Italy) is 10 hours.
Considering that Italy is far more east on the map, why does it take almost the exact same time? Wouldn't the plane from Italy need to fly over the Atlantic AND North America and then make the trip to China?

The earth is not actually round, it is cuboid.
The reason it appears round in photographs is because camera lenses are round. Our eyes, similar to the lens of a camera also duplicate this curvature on a smaller level of course.
