Rent your books from campusbookrentals.com. Purchase the insurance. At the end of the semester call them and say you lost your backpack, car was broken into etc. They make you pay a couple bucks and you keep the books. End of the semester sell them back and you pretty much break even. I've done this twice and they dont question me at all or ask for a police report when I tell them I dont have the books. For my field of study my classmates spend about 1000.00/semester on books. After selling back Ive spent 200 bucks in 2 semesters.
