Cool Kicks !

All these resale shops sell fakes of hype sneakers. Its the easiest way to launder make a **** ton of money.
Really is. Rip people off when they buy their shoes, sell some high dollar fakes for a couple g’s. I’m sure them and places like them were on their knees thanking god when 1’s became all the rage. The easiest thing to fake. Really is easy when people wrongfully give you their trust.

How do you have multiple FSR’s of Travis Scott’s way early? It’s impossible.

They probably started legit built a name then went the rep route.

Never even heard of this place but the news came across my social media feed. Crazy name for a store when a site used to exist with the same name that sold fake sneakers pretty blatantly. Wouldn't be suprised if this was more so tied to selling stolen/hot goods similar to project blitz.

Not trying to be mean but Round Two really broke the mold for a new generation. The fact their are resell shops renting space in malls right next to traditional vendors is unbelievable. They all look the same too. Supreme decks and bape jerseys on the wall, a whole row of Jordan 1s/Dunks/Yeeezys or whatevers trending at the moment, 90s memorabilia plastered throughout, claw machines. Sad

Apparently they permanently closed their Vegas store at the Forum a couple weeks ago. Not necessarily related to the FBI raid but who invests tons of money in renovating that huge store and then closes a few months later?

They said it wasn't worth keeping open because it was too expensive to rent and not enough foot traffic and sales made. They put their most expensive sneakers and none were selling. The footage showed employees just goofing around because the store was always empty.

Sneaker bubble finally popped? Urban Necessities and now Cool Kicks is wild.

These major resellers do so much volume a small percentage of they inventory is bound to be illegitimate

Once resellers got brick and mortar shops the shoe game was cooked

These things are so incredibly true. I've had two incidents at my local boutique recently that completely blew my mind. This place is a fairly well known retail boutique. Nike, Adidas, NB, Asics contracts. All the shoes have price tags on them. Guy walks in, picks a pair off the wall, looks at the tag, then asks "how much are these?" Employee says "I think $180. What's the tag say?" Guy says "I know the tag says $180, but what are YOU charging for them?" Employee looks at me confused, then looks at him and says "$180? I don't understand what you mean."

Last week I was there picking something up, and a lady walks in to get a part of shoes. Walks to the shoe wall, employee asks if she's looking for anything specific, then points out the sale section. She picks out 2 pairs and waves to the employee. He goes to help and she asks "are these shoes used or something?" Once again, employee responds "I'm not sure what you mean? All the shoes are brand new." She makes a comment about the prices, and the employee has to tell her "no ma'am, there's nothing wrong with them. They're just on sale this week."

What’s foul about resale shops in malls is that their stock came from the store next door 😂😂

All said, one less resale shop for the good. I want that whole industry to collapse

Back at Christmas ibwad returning something to FTL, and employee 1 says "are you sure you don't want to take these across the hall?," meaning the resale shop. Employee 2 says "Nah, they said they're not buying X any more." :rolleyes
