Waffle house easy, but I've seen too much sketchy/unsanitary stuff from the cooks, and they're in plain sight of customers. no telling what cats in other restaurants do when they're out of sight.

Cracker Barrel by a mile. IHOP is the only place i know that serve crepes tho.

IHOP is like Dennys with whip cream compared to Cracker Barrel. Its Cracker Barrel hands down for me.

Waffle House. The atmosphere reminds me of my youth coming up in wild public schools.

To paraphrase Vince Staples, going to a Waffle House expecting a 2-star experience is always a 5-star experience for me.

Cheap food, help that doesnt offer to refill my drink, never brings me my receipt, maybe even a tad bit disrespectful. That's a 5-star Waffle House experience.
