i don't see what productive can come out of this "we shall overcome / massa ain't gon get me" mindset people have
to me that's more ****-esque than whatever perceived "tap dancing" Kanye or any black celebrity is doing by meeting with Trump.
the protesting and **** was cool in the immediate 24 after shock but at what point does, say a T.I. realize it would be more productive as a 45 year old family man reality star and felon to sit down and try to have a conversation with trump and try to come up with an agenda to fix some of his displeasures
instead of acting like he's about any type of violent revolution type ****

exactly i'm well aware of what Jim Brown has done & sacrificed, but that doesn't mean you have to be in line with ALL his thoughts, if you gonna give the other side thought do it because YOU yourself see some reasoning in it & not because some figure asked you too.
I get why Kanye would sit down with Trump, i don't agree with it because i personally think it's a waste of time & Trump is an egomaniac who's all about what makes the most money. Ye may feel like building a bridge is more helpful, i disagree with that sentiment but i'm not gonna ostracize him from the black community because i disagree with some of his views.

You're looking at this from some extreme point of view. It's not either you're friends with Trump or you blame Trump for everything. You can accept him for he is and has shown for decades. He's a blatant racist. Nothing is gonna come from the meeting besides Kanye getting his pat on the head.
