Decked out in JORDAN GEAR...and no Jordan shoes?

OK...flame me...lock this thread or just spit the hate and tell me to go back to ISS or whatever. BUT...I noticed this when I was in Vegas this memorialweekend.

What do you guys think of peeps that wear ALL JORDAN GEAR....and rock different shoes? I saw two examples...

#1 - at the airport. I saw a few guys in backpacks, obviously out for a weekend of fun in vegas. One dude had a Jordan jumpman logo t shirt and the Jordanbasketball shorts, wht/red/blk. DUDE WAS ROCKING New Balance running shoes. His buddy...was wearing another Jordan "lifestyle" shirt and blackJordan basketball shorts...and was wearing DC skate shoes!!!


#2 - in the casino...I saw this dude, all tatted up. Neck tattoo, sleeves etc. He was in complete JORDAN everything. t shirt, cap, hoody, shorts. Justgeared all in JORDAN. what was he wearing? SANDALS with SOCKS! OMG....kill me.


So I know you all have seen these offenses right? I know...who cares...right? I know it makes no difference, I am just posting this for discussion. Idon't think it matters if you have a t shirt only..or shorts only. But when you combine it...to make a "Jordan outfit" shouldn't you wearJordans on your feet too?

i'm kind of the opposite...i don't rock jordan gear, but i rock jordan kicks.....is that weird?

Shouldnt you be in school? I do this often. I have a few tshirts and shorts and I dont always want to wear the shoes. Usually I would rather wear a pair offlip flops anyway.

I don't think I've ever worn a Jordan tee w/o a pair of Jordan shoes on. I buy plenty of shoes, but only a few shirts/shorts.

im wit koopa. lol. and it isnt wierd. i dont spend money on jordan gear but i wear skateboard clothing n i wear jordans. n i feel jus as normal as the ppl thatwear the gear that dont have the shoes to go with it.

Dude, there's so much more to "notice" in Vegas than Jordan Brand....

Yeah I guess I should of stated...the opposite it OK. I have a few Jordan pieces of clothing, and a lot more shoes. I agree it is totally OK to and probablymore "normal" to wear Jordan shoes and not own any gear. But I find it kinda weird to be so BRAND LOYAL, to wear a T, a cap, a hoodie, shorts andthen wimp out and wear some other shoe. I mean you went that far already...why flake on the most crucial part?

I was in Vegas this past memorial, pool parties were dead due to the stupid weather. 40/40 club was popping though.

I think if you wear head to toe Jordan Brand, you're a herb.

I am NOT checking dudes out. Being a guy that likes shoes...Jordans...DO NOT LIE on NT and say you do not notice when someone is wearing JORDAN gear...orsomeone has on something sneaker related that catches your eyes.

To the general population they dont notice...but if WE are being honest...if you are sitting around in an airport waiting to jump on a plane and some guy iswearing a JORDAN Elephant Print hoody walks by do not lie and tell me you don't notice it.

lol me personally....bein from DC we dont rock JB shirts n shorts, track pants etc, other than to ball in.....round hear we pop tags on a fresh solbiato or ajaimani shirts (DC brands, gotta be from the DMV to know bout it), throw on some true religion or evisu jeans n rock the fresh j's or dunks....thats whatsfresh round here.

its odd since JB is known for thier shoes, not clothes. But i usually wear Jordans with shirts of my favorite rock bands which really don't mix either, soim not gonna judge

I agree with this statement. If someone is rocking a Jordan Tee with a hat, I'm going straight down to check the kicks. It's a reflex habit. 90% ofNT's would do the same, which is almost equivalent to checking out Jordans and seeing if they are fake on a person.

ALSO, I agree it's weird if someone is rocking a Jordan hat, a tee, and shorts, and they ARE NOT rocking Jays--I just think of them as a poser.

If someone is a Jordan head, you rock Jays when you wear Jordan gear. Although I can see just a hat and a tee being worn w/o rocking Jays. But shorts/tee/hatwith skater shoes? Looks very odd.

I believe there's an unwritten rule about that. If you're rocking more than (1) piece of "branded" athletic wear, they should be of the samecompany. Oh wait. That's my rule.

P.S. Unless you are cutting/smoking grass, working construction, or other labor intensive activity.

i would assume tha dudes in new balances and DCs are just too cheap to actually go out and drop 100 plus on some jordans so they try to re compensate and tryto look "cool" by wearin' JB clothing. (i mean, you never know what their story is so u can't be for sure. maybe they weren't tryin'to style it up wen u saw em) as for dude with tha sandals, i'm guessin' he wuz just on his chill mode. lol. sometimes u don't feel like runnin'around in sneakers. but why did u mention his tatoos? HMMMMMM??? that's a sweet trait. lol. u didn't have to describe his body to us.
