I have been wearing a pair of Nudie Straight Sven's since last summer regularly and have now developed about a 3 inch tear in the crotch. I have yet tosoak or wash them but they don't smell the part.

My question is: Would you guys wash the jeans before you sent them to the tailor or after? I am leaning towards before because I am sure the tailor wouldappreciate working w/ clean fabric. However, I am afraid that the machine will make the hole much bigger.

Whats the difference in fit between the Rescue and New Standard? And do they really stretch 2 sizes ? Anyone have pictures with them on. Thanks

I am looking for some raw black denim to wear everyday at work. I work in an office and am looking for a black pair that has minimal (if any) contrastingstitching. Ideally, I would like them to fit like the Nudie Straight Sven's that I own, just w/ a smaller leg opening. Anyone have any suggestions?

I've worn a pair of STF's for ~6 months now, and I think it's time to give them a wash. Should I do anything different than normal (machine)? Thishas probably been covered, but there's no way in hell I'm reading through hours worth of pages.
