True, but 2pm on a Sat? I'd understand if they spoke just before the payment was sent.

Yeah, thats why I said give em a day or two... I normally don't get a "Hey, I received your payment." message at all from anyone, Just a "I sent your package, should be there ______." Like a day or two later.

So don't trip Timothy.

im saying tho no communication? if you buy something from me ill at least let u know i received the payment.
it sucks, but some ( a lot actually) sellers dont make communication a high priority after a sale.

which is a bad look on their part.  i can't stand dealing with a seller that will promptly answer any questions i have prior to me paying, but once i pay will lag on communication.   i'm a patient person so i'll give them the benifit of the doubt and give them a week for my item to come. i know some sellers won't ship until the funds have transfered from their paypal into their bank account.  however good communication goes a long way for me. the one minute or so it takes to pm me saying "i shipped your item, here's your tracking number" is worth it in my opinion.

when filing a claim, show paypal "text" that the seller requested the fee circumvention

Also, it seems like Paypal is cutting down on sellers receiving "gift payments". I know a few people who had their account's put on limited access, or notice's sent out.

to me it is as well, i try to be as upfront as possible when dealing with them.  if something comes up where i get behind on shipping, rather then wait for the buyer to contact me, i contact them and let them know about the delay, and whenever i ship the item, i pm them the tracking info right away as well.

some sellers just ship the item and don't even contact me to let me know it shipped.  im happy to get the item and all, but i always prefer to have a tracking number so i know when to expect it to arrive.

tim teufel, did you send the payment out today? if so i'd give him until either monday or tuesday before doing anything, since in some areas post offices are closed on saturdays or they close earlier then others. to me solid communication is crucial when i do deals though so if anything i'd hit the seller up and ask him when he intends on shipping your item.
$2 on a $50 payment or $4 on a $100 payment? really?   You are that cheap bro?
