don't buyers lose protection when sending money as a gift though?
just as the buyer pays shipping, the seller should comp for the paypal fees imo.
sellers always whining about lowballers, when they themselves can't pay the few bucks for paypal?

eh you seem like one of those penny pinching assclown niketalkers who would lowball the bejesus out of me on a deal, then not want to compromise on sending the payment as a gift or cover the fees. your type makes me sick.
it's the principle of things to me. 1. as a seller i charge very fair and reasonable prices and 95% of the time people still make stupid offers when the price is more then fair already. 2. why should i take a $4 loss on $100 when i have to pay shipping which costs as much as $15 on top of that.
at the end of the day, i only accept payments as a gift, i ship same or next day and contact the buyer with their tracking info once i ship because i do business the right way. if people don't feel comfortable sending the payment as a gift, i offer them the option of paying 4% extra to cover the fees, if they don't want to do that, they can purchase elsewhere. i've never had a problem selling on here so obviously my way of doing stuff works.
as a buyer if the deal is worth it to me and i'm not comfortable enough with the seller to pay as a gift, i'll just cover the 4% fees since im getting a good deal anyway.

I see where you're coming from Cedric Ceballos but some sellers (Especially on NT) will NOT accept anything besides a gift payment..I've offered to cover the fees and send as a regular payment as opposed to a gift payment to protect myself from being scammed and often the seller will be like "ok no deal" and I don't argue it because I'm not desperate enough for a pair of kicks to send payment as a gift then get hustled out of my hard earned money.

i would do the same thing in that case. somethings fishy with those sellers if they won't accept the payment regular even if you cover the fees.

ok i had my friend email the seller about another item they have listed and the seller responded right away lol. they are deff trying to play me. experts please school me on how to get a reversal back. i used an amex for the transaction through paypal

Call your CC company and file a chargeback, that's all you have to do.
Gift payments aren't covered by Paypal so the only way to get your money back is to get a chargeback done by your CC company. You could also call into PP and file a claim but the seller could call in and have it removed since under PP rules gift payments can't be disputed or claims opened.
