If they fail to finish the first cigarette within that time, they have to keep smoking cigarettes until they can finish one in the 60 second window

They should just get fired. I would never hire a smoker. One of the worst abominations you can commit on yourself. Nothing worse than smelling a smoker when they come back from a break. It's awful. I will never wrap my mind around why people smoke cigarettes. I just don't understand it.

Idk why its such a big deal. When i worked in an office id smoke on my lunch break and down time meaning when i was given a task and i finished it and had nothing else id go for a quick smoke. When i worked graveyard at the hotel it was fair game id go whenever i felt like it.

I'm a union tradesman and most people know to only smoke on your breaks and lunch, which are by law two Ten minute breaks. One before lunch and one after. Those that really can't wait go and smoke one in the portapotty.

I have no issue with it. Just don't vape or e-cig indoors to make up for it. Go out side. Smoke. Spray some deodorant on after or chew gum or something. I drink water all day and take a bunch of bathroom breaks so i guess it all evens out
