Basically, its all relative. I've seen dudes w/ the baddest whip on campus and dude got no buns what-so-ever....And I graduated from an HBCU, thats like giving Switzerland nuclear weapons.

pretty much summed it up

It's a bonus if the guy even has a car

Ehh.

If your over the age of 20 and you dont have a license, drive (Whether its your car or not) or have a car...something is wrong with you.

Not saying everyone can afford a car (Especially in places like NY with insurance being crazy high) but when I turned 17,getting a car was at the top of my list.

How would a girl date a guy that didnt have a car?

You definitely have a flawed outlook on life

Its all about getting noticed. if you got a nice whip then more lady heads will turn to look in your direction. Then you take it from there

I hope not, cause I have no car! Muni n bart ftw. Plenty of chicks ride em.

i'm a 22 y.o. professional with my own car, place, etc. in an area where reliable personal transportation is a necessity - a man must have a car.the 'wrong' one won't turn me off, but the 'right' car could be a plus. i pay close attention to the way a guy takes care of his car - ifit's meticulous and he keeps the maintenance up, it tells me something about the way he takes care of things. an unusual make/model or vintage whip can bea sign of quirkiness. a guy with a pickup may do a lot of work outdoors or with his hands (or come through in the clutch when i need something moved

). but idon't look at a car as an indicator of wealth. an expensive car can cost as much as a home, and it's a terrible investment, anyways.

I could careless what a chick thinks though. Dudes love their cars, and I am one of them. I love both

What if the exhaust is hanging off and scratching the street up?

One of my exes hated driving in my car because it was a Hyundai. She said it was kind of embarrassing being seen in a Korean made car. She used to say her headhurt and she felt like she was gonna throw up, but only when driving in my car.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, but I bet when y'all go out you say "Lets take my car today"

Agreed; and I hope females view it this way too. Showing your car off, bragging and arrogance FTL, being humble FTW.

As materialistic as it sounds, yes. Just like the clothes you wear and hygiene/presentation matters, same concept
