does anyone know when 18s are returning?

They're a nice, simple, clean design that most people seem to crap on for some reason. Only complaint I have is about the white versions. The leather creased like no other, and was much stiffer compared to the black suede. I'd like to see a white/off-white suede version. Yeah, they'd get dirty easily, but if they used the same suede as the black ones, it would be a good look AND solve the comfort issue.

Peace,

i've always been intrigued by the cf setup on the insole, but i just can't get past the sheer ugliness of the shoe. plain designs are fine, but the 23 stitching from the v, the lacehooks from the viii and the grid on the heel are three massive aesthetic strikes to me. if the lace cover panel was slightly different in tone or colour from the rest of the upper (like in the patone lasers), they could be saved, but as they are they are not only supremely boring, but also accented by cheap style cues.

my cdp XVIII's are still holding up, very comfy sockliner, i think it's a memory foam type or something.

Amen brother. I wouldn't touch these no matter how many times theY retro these, how many years they wait to retro them, or how much patent leather they use. The only way I buy these is if they are in a pack with a must have!

The OG XVIIIs were actually quite decent. The CDP retro not so much and the suede wasn't as top notch as the OG.

The blk/blue XVIIIs were actually pretty sweet i wouldnt mind seeing them again with the exact same suede and all.
