Does anybody do this for a side hustle? How much can you make? How hard is it?

There's 1000's of dogs being put down every day in the US because they can't find homes for them.

We dont need more "breeders"

Get a real job.
What does that have to do with OP, though?
Because most of the People who do dog breeding unless they ACTUALLY know what their doing tend to breed unhealthy dogs. Those unhealthy dogs go to families who in the end can't take care of them and send them to shelters thus they get put down.. Doing it the legit way licenses vaccines is usually too expensive for those who just want a quick buc

  you aren't a frickin 'hustla.

I mean, isn't it a mite presumptuous to say that the dogs OP would breed would be competing for adoption with those dogs being put down?
It's even more presumptuous to assume that the dogs OP would raise would be unhealthy; I highly doubt he's gonna be doing genetic manipulation like the Japanese :lol

OP don't listen to these wet towels. Classic case of first reply determining the course of the thread.

My Aunt does it. She sell's Chihuahuas.

Sells them for like 50 to 70 a pop.

She makes at least 300 for every litter.

There's no way she's making money off selling them for 50-70 if she's doing it right.

Puppies are suppose to stay with there mom for 8 weeks by then they should at least have 1 of there vaccines.

The other day I'm at the barbershop and my barbers mom has a puppy that was 4 weeks old. :{

That's part of the problem. There most definitely are people who think because they have a male and a female of the same breed and they can get the female knocked up, they're "breeders". Might not properly care for the puppies, get them the right shots, deworming, etc. If there are 8 puppies and they can only find 5 interested buyers, what happens to the rest? They no longer have value and these wanna-be breeders probably don't want to raise them too.
