Dressing Better Vol 2.0

I want those silky polos with the elastic on the arms. Bonobos had some good ones, never know my size with them though.

Question. What are best options for custom suits?

I used Suit Supply a few years ago. It was a solid, positive experience.

Last Year, I used Indochino. It seems a little more overwhelming in that you have more options. Can’t speak on the quality in comparison to option 1.

Any others?
Go with SuSu but do it in store with one of their MTM specialists and they make it pretty easy for you and you get free alterations

if you have a location near you

Any of y'all moving towards minimalism?

Anyone tried or consider trying Project 333?

Basically 33 Items for 3 months, minus underwear/socks, gym gear, home/lounge clothes.

In terms of everyday wear I can see it without issue, but since they include shoes kind of tough.

Working remotely due to COVID has me feeling sorts of ways about office wear. I generally like being in office but have no desire to return to business wear (even business casual).

Low-key jealous of the SCIF folks down the hall that show up in jeans/t-shirts/even sweats, when everyone else wears suits for meetings that execs hardly show up to.

Need some cheap loafers (not drivers or boat shoes)
sold out

was thiking bass weejuns but almost wanting something w a bit more modern/casual touch. The ALD ones are perf just real expensive for a first pair

I have been in the process of my minimalist journey. Gone are the days of buying 10 pairs of Dunks, 3 pairs of Jordans and all of that. I'm not there yet, but I appreciate the aesthetic of minimalism.

I’ll probably do some CP Achilles, NB 990v5, & some Chelsea boots probably.

That project 333 looks easy tbh.
Im wfh for rest of 2020 so I’m probably in wifebeater and shorts / sweatshirt and sweatpants once it gets colder but assuming actually going into office, my list would be:
  1. Sky blue shirt
  2. light blue shirt ( the very light where it can seem white from distance)
  3. white shirt
  4. blue striped shirt
  5. green striped shirt
  6. navy blazer
  7. light grey trousers
  8. mid grey trousers
  9. khaki colored trousers
  10. ercu colored trousers
  11. either white or another shade of khaki trousers
  12. brown suede chukka
  13. brown suede loafer (either penny or tassel)
  14. black suede Belgians
  15. paraboot Michael brown leather
  16. navy shaggy dog sweater
  17. grey shaggy dog sweater
  18. barbour beaufort olive
  19. norwegian rain Moscow coat gray
  20. another coat (probably camelhair polo)
  21. beanie navy or gray
  22. beanie in another color
  23. gloves
  24. scarf
  25. scarf in another color
  26. gray sweatshirt
thats 26 and I think I’m done. Business casual work environment. For winter too so summer would be even less since coats/beanies/scarves not applicable.

Spent all spring and summer, preparing for winter

the left and the right pairs go hella well with natural/white pants.

Red Wing, White’s MP, and Red Wing

I'd probably rock a cowboy hat with those red wings. Go full western with it. Nice denim vest. Been wanting to make a black one to rock this fall.

I got a few Stetsons, and an Australian outback wide brim. I don’t think I can pull them all off together tho, lol. I don’t live in Texas, and I’d rather have subtle ‘steal the show pieces’ mixed in, than full-blown caricature mode. Just me tho.
