Anyway, here's a trick for my NT fam from a former Nordstrom employee. If you'd like to ensure that your shoes are from a Nordstrom store versus direct to The Rack, look on the sole, if there's a series of #s written in with a pen, it's the employee's ID # they have to tag every shoe sold. Mine had them, therefore, it's not an AE 2nd, someone returned them to a regular Nordstrom's. $325 original price. Hope this helps.

The quality may be inferior or have a minor imperfection, and by checking for the employee code can give you the assurance of a 1st rate purchase.

So these Sperrys are popping up at every Nordstrom Rack? Im about to check the Rack out tomorrow before I pull the trigger online. Im really liking these, could I call in and ask for them and they could check the system, or since its random shoes they woudnt be able to check?
