DSL or Cable?

Which is better and why? Which company do you have and how much are you paying? I want to eliminate my land line, does that mean DSL is out of the picture for me?

I had DSL back home and ran xbl on it just fine, it was fast. Pretty sure its cheaper but Im also pretty sure thats a landline so its out of the question

Cable is better, DSL is not as fast.
